but in order to do that the site must be functional. Our theory is this:
the snooker league cannot survive without the clubs that are involved, obvious. Also the clubs create a decent revenue on match nights, again very obvious. We want clubs to promote themselves on the site in a bid to increase their punters.
Every club works hard to try and stage events that appeal to the public and their members. Wether it's concerts on a saturday night, poker night, bingo etc etc.
Each club involved in the league already has it's own 'home page' on the site. Why not utilise the space to advertise up and coming events? You are appealing to punters who already appreciate the things on offer at a social club.
Quiz nights are another source of entertainment, with teams touring the pubs around the town, let them know when yours is.
Motown / northern soul nights are another big puller. people will travel to a club for things like this.
